Our Mission
Ridgebury Farm unites licensed clinicians and nature to deliver evidence-informed animal-assisted therapies and hippotherapy; occupational, speech, physical therapy, psychotherapy, and nature-based programs - that build physical and mental strength, emotional health, and social connection.

Therapy
Clinical Therapies led by Licensed Professionals
Ridgebury Farm offers evidence-informed, animal-assisted and nature-based therapy led by licensed clinicians. Occupational, physical, and speech therapy may be provided mounted through hippotherapy or unmounted on the farm, while psychotherapy is always offered unmounted in a safe, supportive outdoor setting. Through purposeful movement, connection with horses, and time in nature, participants build regulation, confidence, and functional life skills.
Lessons
Wellness Horsemanship creates well rounded equestrians, on the ground and in the saddle.
Our Wellness Horsemanship program blends traditional horsemanship with emotional awareness, leadership, and self-confidence, and includes both traditional and adaptive lessons. Riders learn mounted and unmounted skills while building a deeper connection with horses, themselves, and the natural world — no competition, just growth at each individual’s pace.
Early Childhood Programs
Bring your littles to the farm to set them up for the future.
Our Early Childhood programs are centered around our Nature-Based Learning drop-off program for children ages 2–4, where young learners build confidence, social skills, and curiosity through hands-on exploration and time outdoors. Our Mommy + Me classes offer a gentle introduction to the farm for children ages 0–3 and their caregivers, creating a welcoming first experience with nature, animals, and our community.
