Danielle Edwardson

Danielle Edwardson is the owner and manager of Flywheel Farm in Brewster, NY, a private facility dedicated to the care and retirement of horses. A lifelong equestrian, Danielle began riding as a junior and later rode professionally for four years at Stony Creek Farm in North Salem, NY, developing a strong foundation in horsemanship and equine care.

Before founding Flywheel Farm in 2016, Danielle spent nine years at Ford Motor Company and four years at Newgen Consulting, where she specialized in automotive strategy and operations. This background in business and operations continues to inform her work today.

At Flywheel Farm, Danielle oversees all aspects of barn management and horse care, with a focus on providing individualized, attentive retirement for each horse. Her combined experience in business leadership and equine management ensures the farm operates with professionalism, structure, and consistency—values she brings to her role on the Ridgebury Farm Board of Directors.
