Alex Wooters

Instructor/ Barn Assistant

Alex Wooters is a Wellness Horsemanship Instructor and Barn Assistant at Ridgebury Farm, where she teaches lessons, supports the Level Up program, and helps with camps and daily barn activities. She works primarily with children and enjoys helping riders build confidence, skills, and meaningful connections with horses.

Alex has been riding and training horses since the age of four and competed in the hunter-jumper discipline for more than ten years. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work, bringing both equine experience and a people-centered perspective to her work.

Known for her fun, energetic, and uplifting approach, Alex especially enjoys working with and training the horses. Her favorite season at the farm is spring, when the wildlife returns and the farm comes alive with new energy.
